Mission Statement

At Camp Chameleon, we’re a nonprofit on a mission to give children with moderate to severe disabilities a fun, engaging traditional and track-out camp experience. We believe every child deserves to play, laugh, and make memories just like their typically developing peers. Our goal is to keep camp affordable for families, so parents can have peace of mind knowing their child is safe, happy, and working on personal goals in a playful, supportive environment.

“As a teacher I looked for this type of camp for my students for many years and have not been able to find this service in Wake County. As I entered into retirement I felt the calling to offer this service to many parents and their child.” – Kelli Jackson
